"When do you receive fresh flower shipments?"
KALIANg sources flowers from several markets across Tokyo. Most flower auctions take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Consequently, fresh flower shipments arrive between the morning and midday on those days.
However, after we source the flowers, we perform a process called "mizuage" (conditioning), which involves removing excess leaves and allowing the flowers to absorb water. We only begin selling flowers in the shop once they have been prepared to a quality that meets our standards for customers. Therefore, even on shipment days, they may not be available for purchase depending on the time of day. If you would like to pick up flowers early, please contact us in advance.
